Never attempt to wheel a machine over rough and uneven ground. For hoisting, lifting lugs provided on the blast machine must be used. Machine weights are shown below.
Always disconnect air and blast hoses from the machine and ensure it is empty before being moved.
If the blast machine is not to be used for a period of time, it is advisable that it is emptied. This will prevent future blockages due to condensation and abrasive consolidating in the vessel.
Always ensure that the machine is covered when left unattended to prevent the ingress of rainwater and other foreign objects.
For long term storage it is recommended to turn the machine upside down to prevent condensation from settling in the base of the vessel and the abrasive metering valve.
