I often find myself looking for ways to improve layouts and make information even clearer, so knowing when a design is at the right stage to move forward can sometimes be difficult. Maintaining a healthy balance between continuous improvement and keeping a project on track is a key part of my job.

I think the best results come from understanding not only a customer's specific requirements for a project but also their preferences for the finer details. Even the smallest change that makes a piece of equipment more comfortable or user-friendly can leave a lasting impression. Regular communication with the workshop team throughout the design process is just as important, as their extensive experience in building blasting equipment often helps me find smarter, more practical solutions.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work, any hobbies or interests that help you unwind?
I've been snowboarding for most of my life and go whenever I get the chance, whether that's abroad or at an indoor centre. I also regularly go to the gym to stay in shape for it. Outside of that, I'm a huge fan of anime, Warhammer 40K, and pretty much anything else related to sci-fi or fantasy.
