Q: What does a typical day at work look like for you?
A typical day as an Aftermarket Administrator is fast-paced and varied, acting as the link between customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams. From coordinating engineer visits and reviewing reports to managing quotations and preparing jobs for invoicing, the role is all about keeping things moving, keeping customers informed, and ensuring no job falls through the cracks.

Q: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?
Away from work, I enjoy gardening, growing flowers and vegetables, looking after my hens, and spending time with my family. I also love travelling, experiencing different cultures, and discovering great food wherever I go.
Q: How does your role contribute to delivering great customer service?
The aftermarket team and our engineers are often the first point of contact for customers, so clear communication is key. We focus on keeping customers informed, supported, and confident that their enquiry or issue is being handled, ensuring every job is followed through to a positive outcome.
Q: What is the biggest thing you've learned here at SurfacePrep UK?
The biggest thing I’ve learned is how much there still is to learn! Working in a new industry, every day brings something different, from understanding technical processes and materials to learning more about blast equipment. I enjoy the challenge and the opportunity to keep expanding my knowledge.
